A direct current milliamperometer with a mobile coil, a 5 milliampere scale bottom, equipped with a shunt allowing increases in range to 10 and 50 milliamperes.
It has a cylindrical, chrome-plated brass case (diameter 12.5 cm, height 6 cm). It is fixed to two short staffs of chrome-plated brass with pins and clamping screws held by two glass insulating columns attached to a polished wood platform.
The two terminals are on the brass staffs and are connected to the coil terminals by means of the two supporting pins, which are insulated by the case.
The overall height of the instrument is 38 cm.
