The classic insulated support for electrostatic experiments. It is 25.5 cm in height and consists of a brass disk (diameter 21 cm) supported by an glass insulating rod on a circular brass base weighted with a lead bottom. A clamp with a spherical brass pommel placed underneath, near the edge, allows connections if required.
