An air bubble level, all brass with
the feet burnished, 45 cm in length and 8.5 cm in height, with levelling
screws. It differs from ordinary air bubble levels in that to centre the
bubble its longitudinal extremities are regulated by matching them to
two graduated ivory scales 10 cm long and divided into 120 parts instead
of matching two lines etched on the glass tube containing the bubble.
